    MUMBAI: Food and food lifestyle channel Foodfood will launch its new weekly show ‘Roti Raasta Aur India‘ on August 24. The show is powered by Dabur Hajmola while Coca Cola and Tata I - Shakti Dal are associate sponsors. Daawat Basmati has come on board as the ‘rice partner‘.

    The show will be aired every Friday at 8 pm with winner of cooking reality show Foodfood Mahachallenge Chef Saransh Goila anchoring the show that follows his journey to discover the local food and flavours of the country. The show will also have a daily video diary updated by Golia where he will share his experiences of the day and discuss the next day.

    The show will track an informative journey down the India, taking a look at its culinary heritage and tracing its history. It will showcase traditional Indian cuisine, rich and diverse in flavours, made with distinct cooking methodologies and authentic utensils, originating from every region in India.

    Roti Raasta Aur India is a show about a man who desires to cook for India and eat with India. In an attempt to discover ‘Roti‘ from various parts of India Goila will be seen traveling across the country and interacting with everyday people leading their routine lives. The show follows his exploits as he collects food stories, meets new communities, cooks for them and eats with them. The show will cover diverse regions of the country like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, amongst others.
