MUMBAI: Pritish Nandy Communications has aggregated profits of Rs 12.6 million for the quarter ended June 2003, claiming doubling of its turnover during the period.
With a cumulative profit of Rs 22.9 million for the first half of the 2003-04 fiscal, PNC has already surpassed last year's profits, the company claims. The turnover during the second quarter was Rs 52 million, resulting in a cumulative half-year turnover of Rs 97.5 million.
The second quarter of the 04 fiscal saw the release of PNC's feature film, Mumbai Matinee, while the next, Chameli, a Kareena Kapoor starrer, was launched. Five other films, due for release beginning this December, have also been announced by PNC.
