As a part of the association, Fever 104 FM organized host of exciting fare for its listeners about the making of the movie. Anthony D?Souza, director of the movie, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Zyed Khan, lead actors of the movie can be now heard on Fever FM sharing their experiences of working on the Movie.

    Fever 104 FM had also initiated a weeklong exciting contest for its listeners. In the contest, songs of the movie ?Blue? were being played on air in a distorted version and were made to sound as if they were being played underwater, ensuring that the contest is in line with the theme of the movie.   • IDEA rings in J&K

    MUMBAI: My FM celebrated the birthday of ?Shahenshah? Amitabh Bachchan with ?Sirf Bachchan campaign on October 11, 2009 only on 94.3 My FM?. As a part of the celebrations, there was an exclusive interview of Amitabh Bachchan which was aired in the morning show. Other highlights of the celebration were the predictions on Amitabh Bachchan by astrologer Sunjay Jumani and the ?Bachchan Look-alike Contest? which took place in several stations.

    In the ?Bachchan look-alike contest? My FM invited people who look exactly like Amitabh Bachchan to participated in the contest. The winner was selected from among best look-alikes who participated in the contest. My FM had also designed another special contest dedicated to Big B, in which My FM played ?Amitabh?s Movie dialogues? on-air from all his popular movies and questions were aired. Listeners had to answer the questions based on them and won exciting MY FM memorabilia.

  • Zee News lights up the lives of the underprivileged

    MUMBAI: In an attempt to bring a smile on the faces of the underprivileged children on the occasion of Diwali, Zee News had organized a painting competition on the theme ‘PROSPEROUS INDIA‘, under the aegis of its unique campaign India First.

    As part of the campaign, the channel provided an opportunity to about 1000-1500 children from various NGO?s to participate and paint ?The India? of their thoughts. Ace cricketer Virender Sehwag also joined the campaign. He not only motivated the children but also pledged to contribute in his own way to make India First in all instances. By lighting up the candles, Virender spread the message across the citizens of the country to come forward and join the campaign.

    The theme of the event was ?I am an Indian, Nationalism is my religion?. This drive was initiated to mark the occasion of India?s 62nd Independence Day to promote Unity, Progress & Prosperity. India First is yet another endeavour from Zee News to unite the nation and help to forget divisions of caste, class, sex, religion or language. The campaign is aimed ?To unite the nation to forget all the divisions by empowering human resources & make India first?, and is acting as a catalyst to make the nation stronger.

    Additionally, students from various NGOs also performed a skit and cultural programmes in sync with the initiative.
