Mumbai: Colors Bangla's new show Sohag Chand features an inspirational story about a plus-size woman. It will air every day at 7 p.m.
Anwesha Chakraborty, who won Ms. Plus Size 2019, will play Sohag, and Abhishek Veer Sharma, who was last seen in Mou er Bari, will play Chand.Bharat Kaul, Tanuka Chatterjee, and Srabani Banik are among the other notable artists in the show.
It is the story of a girl named Sohag, who is warm-hearted and nearly perfect but gets rejected every time by prospective grooms for being overweight. The show is a tribute to those who believe love is skin deep.
Sohag is a plus-sized romantic woman who works for a bank. She is rejected by 34 prospective grooms because of her appearance, but she is completely unaware of the world's need for a perfect bride. But the optimist in her believes that one day she will meet her prince charming, who will fall in love with her because of her inner beauty. Chand, on the other hand, is a fitness enthusiast who wants to start a sports academy. Chand is looking for a bride who is beautiful and perfect and who is not overweight.
