MUMBAI: Chris Spadaccini has been appointed as the new chief marketing officer by Warner Media Entertainment, as per news reports.
He will take over the place left vacant by Michael Engleman’s. Spadaccini will be reporting to Warner Media Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt.
Spadaccini started his career with HBO in 1999 and was made the CMO in 2016. He will look after the marketing profiles of Warner’s other cable networks like TNT, TBS, and TruTV, as well as the upcoming streaming service.
He played a key role in marketing the show the popular Sopranos as well as Entourage and launching the HBO Now streaming service. HBO's mega-hit show Game of Thrones was also handled by Spadaccini.
Before working with HBO, Spadaccini was with VH1 where he helped in marketing campaigns.
