MUMBAI: The third season Crime Scene Investigation (CSI), the highly acclaimed crime - thriller series received an overwhelming response in the US. With a viewership close to 30 million , the series has set a record and become the No. 1 drama on television, states an official release.

According to the release, the third season of CSI , a series about forensic experts who use their expertise to solve difficult crimes will premiere Asia-wide on AXN , in March 2003 .

The series which recently won the Emmys and the best New series of 2001 at the TV Guide awards has been produced by Jerry Bruckheimer who has blockbusters like Pearl harbor, Top Gun , Con Air, The Rock , Armageddon and the hit reality series The Amazing Race to his credit.
