MUMBAI: News channel CNN has announced that one of the major programme highlights for December will be a live interview with Jimmy Carter. Carter is the 2002 Nobel Laureate.
Prize for Peace:2002 will be hosted by Jonathan Mann who also anchors the show Insight. The interview takes place in Oslo and airs 10 December at 9:30 pm with repeats on 14 December at 4:30 pm and 15 December at 12:30 pm.
Mann has interviewed every Nobel Peace Prize winer since 1995. Meanwhile the channel has also announced special internet coverage of the South Korean Presidential Election which takes place on 19 December. Current President Kim Dae-jung steps down. Channel coverage will however not be restricted just politics and world issues. On the sporting front on 9 December the shows World Sport and Inside Sailing will have action from the Louis Vuitton Yachting Cup which will take place in New Zealand. The event acts as a selection series to determine who will race in America's Cup.
