MUMBAI: JimJam, the pre-school channel, has secured carriage on Telkomvision‘s DTH, cable and upcoming IPTV platform in Indonesia. The service is already available on AORA in the country.
Since its launch in 2006, JimJam, a joint venture between HIT Entertainment and Chello Zone, has expanded into more than 50 territories, including Poland, Russia, Hungary, Greece, the Middle East and Singapore.
A 24-hour version of the channel in English premieres on Telkomvision this month to more than 100,000 subscribers.
"Indonesia is a key market for JimJam. Hence we are delighted to be signing this deal with Telkomvision," said Chello Zone Asia-Pacific regional director Maria Kassova, "As a key market, growing fast with huge potential, this is another great stride in JimJam‘s Asia-Pacific expansion."
