MUMBAI: Turner Entertainment Group president Mark Lazarus has announced a new operating structure for Cartoon Network Enterprises, the branded merchandising business of Cartoon Network.
Kim McQuilken has been made Cartoon Network Enterprises executive vice president kids advertising sales and marketing.
On the domestic end, McQuilken will report to David Levy, the president of Turner Entertainment Group sales and marketing and president of Turner Sports. For international, he will report to Louise Sams, executive VP and general counsel for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., and president of Turner Broadcasting System International.
Cartoon Network Enterprises senior VP John Friend will have direct responsibility for Cartoon Network's consumer products licensing business in the US and internationally, reporting to McQuilken.
Cartoon Network Enterprises' creative direction will remain under the direction of Cynthia Rapp, but will now report to Dennis Adamovich, the senior VP of marketing for Cartoon Network.
All other operations and programming functions for Cartoon Network US will continue to operate under the existing structure headed by general manager Jim Samples.
