Cartoon Network approves two original comedy animated series

MUMBAI: Cartoon Network has given a nod for two original comedy animated series - Regular Show and Horrorbots.

The launch dates of the two shows are, however, yet to be announced.

Regular Show revolves around two best friends who spend their days entertaining themselves by any possible means much to the displeasure of their Boss.

Horrorbots tells the story of ‘Thrasher‘ and ‘Blastus‘, two outsider teenage droids who are only slightly less horrific than the ultra-powerful robots that populate their planet, Killglobe.

Also, the channel is producing additional episodes of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. With this the total number of half-hour episodes in the series will be 46.

Cartoon Network has ordered additional script for the second season of Adventure Time which will be aired in 2010.
