Isro on red alert after terrorist attack

MUMBAI: The terrorist attack in Bangalore a few days ago has prompted the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) to issue a red alert across its institutes in India.

Media reports indicate that the security at all Isro units was manned by personnel drawn from the Central Industrial Security Force and is foolproof as most of the ISRO units were sensitive in nature.

Isro chairman, G Madhavan Nair was quoted in reports calling the attack depressing and shocking. He said that Bangalore may have been chosen as it is emerging as the IT hub of the country.
