MUMBAI: Star World India has signed a deal with the UK based Screentime Partners to telecast the television series Luxury Unveiled. Screentime Partners has also confirmed a number of distribution deals which will see the etv produced series broadcast internationally.
With an initial focus on Asia, deals have also been concluded with TVB Pearl in Hong Kong; TV12 in Singapore; Lala TV in Japan; On Style in South Korea; and the branded slot called Saga on Beijing TV and Shanghai TV. The first programmes will air in May.
Digital TV company, etv and Luxury Unveiled Ltd, a luxury focused media company, are currently producing the six documentary-style programmes in the series. The hour long shows will go behind-the-scenes of some of the world's best known and exclusive brands including Chanel, Cartier, Dunhill, Zegna and Vertu, states an official release.
Screentime Partners' Tom McClelland said, "The allure of luxury brands is now a truly global phenomenon and we believe that these programmes, with unique access to some of the top brands, will engage audiences with equal fervour from Shanghai to Rio de Janeiro."
