This Saturday 15 December at 9:30 pm HBO the channel which claims to be Simply The best will show Liar Liar. Back to back golden Globe Winner Jim Carrey ( The Truman Show, Man On The Moon) stars as a lawyer who is obsessed wiht his work. Not surprisingly his marriage failed and he neglects his son. Making things worse he constantly lies much to the dismay of his son.
So on his sixth birthday his son makes the wish that for one day his father does not lie. His wish comes true when on that day every word that falls from Jim Carrey's mouth is the truth and nothing but the truth.
The film has been directed by Tom Shadyac.
To get the prestigious partnership at his law firm Carrey has to lie to win his latest case. Jennifer Tilly is a scene stealer as a woman constantly unfaithful to her husband. The divorce proceedings are a riot. So check this refreshing comedy which reminds us of the importance of being true to oneself.
