UTV Stars hops on to Dish TV and Tata Sky

MUMBAI: UTV has launched its Bollywood channel UTV Stars on Dish TV and Tata Sky, the two leading direct-to-home (DTH) platforms.

Starting today, UTV Stars is available on Dish TV’s channel No. 48 and on Tata Sky’s channel No. 707.

UTV Stars was launched on 19 August simultanelously in India and the Middle East (Etisalat Network).

 
UTV Stars business head Nikhil Gandhi said, “We are happy to announce that UTV Stars is now available on Dish TV and Tata Sky from today. DTH has become a significant player in India and with this development, we intend to strengthen our distribution in Indian markets.”

With a tagline of "The Official Channel of Bollywood", UTV Stars is a specialty entertainment channel, dedicated exclusively to Bollywood and celebrities.
