Mumbai: Two senior executives from Cell18 have floated a multi-media creative company, Pundalik.
Former Cell18 CEO and Network18 group creative director Zubin Driver, who had quit the company last month, has co-founded Pundalik with former Cell18 senior creative director Harish Tiwari.
Driver is designated as the CEO while Tiwari is director of the company.
Pundalik will create content across television, web, mobile and live entertainment with an independent film vertical.
ETV Marathi senior executive producer Ganesh Sagade and Nitin Godambe, who was a freelancer with Cell18, are also joining the company.
Driver said, "At Pundalik, we will generate a new energy and process of discovery for people who work with us. We will create engaging content which is media neutral and has larger reach."
Pundalik is named after the Varkari saint Pundalik, who was a devotee of Lord Vithoba.
Driver has over 22 years of experience in the advertising, theatre and film industry. Being the creative director of Network18 for the last 11 years, he has played important role in setting up and running the creative teams for the group?s five news channels and History18.
