Vodafone Casa TV launches Star channels in Portugal

MUMBAI: Star‘s flagship channels, Star Plus and Star Gold, have launched in Portugal on the Vodafone Casa TV, the growing IPTV platform and a key player in the Portugal telecommunications market.

The Vodafone Casa TV is a part of Vodafone Portugal, which is wholly owned by the Vodafone Group.

New subscribers can get the Asian package for €14.99 per month, which can be subscribed using the TV User Interface or on the PC, at Vodafone Casa TV‘s website.

With this launch, Vodafone Casa TV has consolidated its Asian television entertainment offering to the South Asian diaspora in Portugal.

While Star Plus is general entertainment channel, Star Gold is a Bollywood movie channel.

Star head UK and Europe Yeshpal Sharma said, "We are very pleased to partner with Vodafone Casa TV to consolidate our television offering and launch two of our flagship channels Star Plus and Star Gold in Portugal."
Vodafone Casa TV offers over 120 television channels (including 14 HD channels and one 3D channel) and a Basic Package of over 70 channels which include Portuguese viewers‘ favourite channels.
