MUMBAI: The Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (Casbaa) has appointed Jill Grinda as its VP, operations.

Based in Hong Kong, Grinda will report to Casbaa CEO Simon Twiston Davies.

Grinda will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the association, including oversight of finance and human resources as well as supervising the events and communications teams.
 
Grinda will also promote new revenue opportunities and relationships with Casbaa partners.

Twiston Davies said, "Jill brings a wealth of market experience that will prove invaluable to the continued growth and evolution of Casbaa - reinforcing the Association as the preeminent multi-channel channel television representative body in Asia." 
 
Prior to joining Casbaa, Grinda was Euronews worldwide distribution director and previously also held distribution and marketing positions with Al Jazeera English, CNBC, Bloomberg Television, American Express International and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
