Mumbai: Zee Cinema has announced that Ikke Pe Ikka which it claims is the longest running countdown show in the history of Indian television completed 400 episodes last week.
Into its eighth year now, Ikke Pe Ikka engages its viewers with its innovative content and tongue-in-cheek humour. An official release informs that Sajid Khan remains the highlight of the show, with a brand of humour that defines his identity. The show airs every Sunday at 8:30 pm.
To celebrate this grand success, Sajid Khan, will entertain his viewers with hilarious spoofs on a few off his favourite characters. The next few episodes titled Bollywood Khichdi will see Sajid in get-ups as Randhira Bedi, Manjit, Father Khan and Chin Bahadur.
Khan adds, "The best thing about the show is that I am free to do whatever I want. This helps in making the show interesting and innovative and I guess this is the secret of sustaining the interest of the viewers for such a long period of time."
