MUMBAI: There is a buzz going around Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book what with the sequel to the 1967 film currently running in theatres. Now Hindi general entertainment channel Sahara Manoranjan has announced that it will air the television series Jungle Book in its kids' block Just Kids.

The programme initiative is in line with the channel's commitment to offer quality entertainment with a difference while allowing it to compete with Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. It will premiere on 6 June at 6:30 pm.

An official release informs that Jungle Book will feature Gulzar's title song "Jungle Jungle pata chala hai, chadi pahenke phool khila hai".
