MUMBAI: This week in the last episode of Saving India's Western Ghats, the CNN-IBN team reaches Kerala, also known as 'God's Own Country.' The episode welcomes the arrival of the monsoons, goes in search of the elusive Great Indian Hornbill and meets a scientist who is trying to save this rare bird. After showing how fish species are being threatened because of the aquarium trade in Chalakuddy River, the team treks to the habitat of a unique goat-antelope Nilgiri Tahr, and meets people who are fighting to preserve this species. The show ends its 14,000 km-long journey in Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India.
