MUMBAI: NDTV India has announced three new shows that will debut on the 24 hour Hindi news channel this month.
Indianama will have noted journalist Tavleen Singh travelling to a different part of the country every week and coming face-to-face with the people and issues that give a local region its distinct local flavour. The show will premiere on 13 July at 7:30 pm.
Muqabala, the Hindi version of NDTV's hit show The Big Fight will have noted anchor Dibang conducting a heated debate on the issue of the week. People involved with the issue argue their point-of-view, while the viewers get to decide who is right. The show launches on NDTV India on 19 July at 10 pm.
Duniya Iss Hafte will have popular anchor Nidhi Kulpati bringing viewers the latest international events with NDTV India correspondents giving live reports from countries in the news, and exclusive interviews with international newsmakers. Indian foreign affairs experts will provide insight into what different international headlines mean to India. The show launches on 26 July at 9.30 pm.
