Adyanthaya moves from [V] to Star News as brand director

MUMBAI: Keertan Adyanthaya, Star India's vice president content & communication for Channel [V], has moved on to take over as brand director, Star News. Amar Deb, creative director at [V], has moved into Adyanthaya's post since last week.
Adyanthaya, who took charge at Channel [V] last May, essentially a chemical engineer, who detoured into advertising before landing up as content head of a music channel, will now handle both on air and off air communication for Star News.
Deb, meanwhile, says his aim to carry forward the vision of Star and COO Sameer Nair for the music channel. A whole lot of fresh programming is on the cards for the Channel V, says Deb, who too has an advertising background and has spent the last three years with [V] as the creative director of the channel, has been associated with [V]'s programming initiatives like Popstars and reality shows like Crush and Patli Gali.
Star India's head of corporate communications Yash Khanna confirmed the developments.
