MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) has appointed Mike Dormer as the director of scripted production.
 

He will work on expanding the company’s portfolio of drama and comedy projects in the UK.
 
 

Dormer will be based in London and will report to SPTI’s head of UK television production Ann Harris. In the newly created position, he will work with Harris to oversee the expansion of SPTI’s UK television drama and comedy series productions and co-productions portfolio.

He will supervise the development and production of several current SPTI drama series. He also takes on the role of executive in charge of production for SPTI on the Sony-led Talkback Thames co-production for ITV, The Golden Hour.
