MUMBAI: Sony‘s remake of Annie will now have Rose Byrne as a part of the ensemble. She will be playing the role of Grace, the assistant to Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks, played by Jamie Foxx.

She is the fourth to sign on the movie which already has Jamie Foxx, Quvenzhane Wallis who became the youngest person ever to receive an Oscar nomination for her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild and Cameron Diaz.

The film is set to be released on Christmas this year and is produced by Jay Z and Will Smith. The adaption of the ‘Great Depression‘ era comic strip is set in modern times.
