MUMBAI: Rohit Shetty, whose film Singham has been doing brisk business, has decided to return to the comedy genre.

Shetty and Ajay Devgn, have planned a remake of the Hrishikesh Mukherji-directed Golmaal. The film will be titled Bol Bachchan and star Abhishek Bachchan.

"While the basic idea would be the same, we‘ve changed the characters,setting and situations. But on a cautionary note, it‘s better to acquire the rights and remake it your own way," Shetty pointed out.

The essence of one liners and comedy will be retained in the remake. While the original saw Utpal Dutt‘s daughter falling in love with Amol Palekar, the remake will see Devgn‘s sister falling for Bachchan.

A romantic comedy, the film will pair Devgn with Prachi Desai and Bachchan with Asin.
