Star News' crime show Sansani completes 1000 episodes
MUMBAI: Sansani, the crime show on Star News, has completed 1000 episodes.
MUMBAI: With the UP elections around the corner, Star News will bring back its political elections coverage special programmes starting with Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri?
Kicking off this show, the current chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav will feature live on Star News at 10 pm on the 1 April in a Q&A session at Lucknow.
Kahiye Netaji will feature around 20 debates woven around the 7 phases starting 7 April and ending on 8 May at 4 pm.
The daily election bulletin will also consist of updates, comments, live debates, opinion polls, exit polls, counting day specials and travelogues that will trace the unique demographics and culture of Uttar Pradesh.
Star News anchors will be supported by panelists like Amar Ujala Group editor Mahesh Rangarajan, sociologist Shashi Shekhar and JNU professor Dr Anand Kumar.
The news programme line up on Star News also includes: Pehli Tasveer - the pre elections opinion poll airing on 4 and 5 April, exit poll Taaza Tasveer will air between 5 pm and 7 pm during the polling phase and 8 to 8:30 pm on election day. Ganga Jamuna is a travelogue on the region looking at its political equations airing on 30 March.
With the current focus on Rahul Gandhi, Rahul Ka Report will feature the leader in waiting and other fresh faces emerging on the UP political horizon.
The criminal-politician nexus will be explored in Kya Don Ko Harana Mushkil Hi Nahin Namumkin Hai - This series will explain why it is really difficult to unseat a criminal MLA.
