MUMBAI: ET NOW has announced the launch of its new six part series ? ?Hot Sectors with Punita Kumar Sinha?.
Slated to go on air from 11 February, the show will analyse six of India?s most influential sectors like Retail, Infrastructure, Power Generation and Distribution, Oil and Gas, Banks/Financial Insurance and Telecom.
It will air every Monday at 6.30 pm and 11 pm and on Wednesday at 6.30 pm.
Each 30 minute episode will focus on discussing one sector and giving the viewer a complete analysis and views on its potential.
The first episode will examine and discuss the retail sector with an overall perspective from veterans within the sector such as Kishore Biyani (CEO of the Future Group and MD of Pantaloons), Arvind Singhal (Chairman ? Technopack), Renuka Ramnath (private equity investment) and Nikhil Vora (MD of IDFC Securities).
This series will be specially discussing sector trends, analysing opportunities and risks, highlighting recent government actions, changing industry dynamics and latest investment trends.
Sinha has more than 20 years of experience in asset management in international and emerging markets. Last year ET Now had completed a successful series called ?Global Insights with Punita Kumar Sinha?.
MUMBAI: ET Now senior editor and lead anchor Shaili Chopra has decided to move on from the company.
She had tweeted yesterday, "Hello people, moving on from ETNOW, doing something new(s) and exciting - both in business and in media - more on that coming soon."
She had joined Times Global Broadcasting in 2009. Prior to joining Times, she was with NDTV as markets and corporate affairs editor for five months and NDTV Profit as senior news editor corporate from 2004 - 2009.
MUMBAI: ET Now, an English language business news channel, is launching the third edition of ?IndiaMART Leaders of Tomorrow? on 28 August.
The show will be telecast every Tuesday at 10:30 pm, Saturday at 06:30 pm and Sunday at 11:30 am.
The series highlights the success achieved by the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) across India. It will present entrepreneurial success stories across 14 award categories in the coming weeks summing up the journey in next 27 episodes.
Also, it will showcase a panel discussion among industry experts, a felicitation ceremony and also highlight award winners? through the ?SME Doctors? journeys to success.
This time ?SME Doctors? will be roped in to evaluate the companies covered in the series. Besides mentoring these MSMEs, the "experts" will offer suggestions on various aspects specific to their companies such as innovation and vision for growth, mapping growth trajectory and profitability of the company; financing options if needed, potential to grow big, among others.

Each episode will tell the tales of passion, courage, grit, challenges and success of three-four companies across various industries. Also, two episodes out of these will be dedicated to women entrepreneurs in India, the channel said.

The eight-part series will focus on global trends and analyse their impact on India. It will air every Tuesday at 10.30 pm and Saturday at 8.30 pm.
The show host Sinha has more than 20 years of experience in asset management in international and emerging markets. Prior to founding Pacific Paradigm Advisors in 2012, Sinha was head of Blackstone Asia Advisors L.L.C. and its chief investment officer, and was a senior managing director of The Blackstone Group L.P. Prior to Blackstone, Sinha worked with Oppenheimer, Battery March (a Legg Mason company), and Standish Ayer.
Hosted by Punita Kumar Sinha, the show will delve into some of the most pressing issues facing the global economy today: from the fate of the US economy?s tentative recovery to the inevitability of Euro zone break-up to China?s hard landing to India?s economic future in the face of global slowdown.
