MUMBAI: After DD News and Rajyasabha TV, another public broadcasting channel DD National has joined the one million subscriber club on YouTube. 

Doordarshan director general Supriya Sahu and Prasar Bhararti CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati congratulated DD National team on Twitter for achiving the milestone in digital space.

Recently, Rajya Sabha TV’s YouTube channel crossed over 25 lakh subscriber base. Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu praised the top editorial team and technical team as well as its employees for the achievement.

Back in 2017, Rajya Sabha TV’s YouTube channel had just 4 lakh subscribers which is now far ahead of other major channels. While private broadcasters have already secured their positions in digital segment, pubcaster DD is also steadily growing its footprint.
