MUMBAI: MIPCube, the two-day networking and live learning experience on the future of TV ahead of the television trade event MipTV in Cannes France, has launched the first-ever international Media Architect.
of the Future Award to honour an industry figure who has helped define the new TV landscape, embracing innovation and creativity to take the super media to its next level of consumer engagement.
The first recipient of this award is MGM president Television Group and digital Roma Khanna. Reed Midem will present the award during a Visionary Talk on day two of MIPCube on 31 March.

Since her appointment at MGM in June 2011, Khanna has been charged with developing strategies to grow the business globally, while developing new, creative content. She oversees all television development and production, global sales and acquisitions, distribution and licensing, and content creation and digital initiatives for MGM television worldwide.
