Abbey Home Media inks JV with Channel 5

MUMBAI: UK media company Abbey Home Media, Group which creates and distributes pre-school children‘s programming for broadcast, audio, video, DVD and publishing channels, has announced a joint venture with Channel 5 to market and distribute a range of children‘s DVDs and audio titles to promote Milkshake!, the TV programming block on Channel 5 aimed at children aged 2-7 years old.

The first DVD launched in April 2011 entitled ‘Music Box-Bop Box‘ includes over two hours of nursery rhymes and pre-school songs for preschoolers.

The second DVD launched in September 2011 entitled ‘Milkshake Gold‘. ‘Milkshake Gold‘ offers over two hours of entertainment for both boys and girls and contains 14 children‘s characters from the Milkshake! line up, including Thomas and Friends, Little Princess, Roary the Racing Car, The Mr Men, Sesame Street‘s Bert and Ernie and Fifi and the Flowertots.

Each episode is introduced by the popular Milkshake! presenters and the DVD extras include dance routines and theme tunes. The Milkshake! Gold DVD retails at ?9.99 across all major high street stores and on-line.
