The rest as they say is history.

Rocky II took off from where Rocky ended, with the entire cast of Rocky reuniting with Stallone at the helm as writer and director in pursuit of the heavyweight championship. In Rocky III, Balboa goes through changes internally and externally in attempts to improve his personal life and hold on to the heavy weight title and finds its not nearly as difficult to reach the top as it is to stay there. In Rocky IV Rocky comes out of retirement to do battle for the greatest prize of all - America.
