• CNN-IBN's Minus 30 is back with an action-packed second season

    CNN-IBN‘s Paras Tomar will embark on a pan-Indian voyage, traveling the length and breadth of the country to meet youngsters and subsequently update the viewers on interesting facts and issues that influence and mould the future generation. From music and culture to hot topics like gender inequality and campus politics, Paras will approach the nation‘s youth to create an understanding on how they think and act.

    Gen Y no longer feels that becoming a doctor or engineer is the ultimate career option. Today, there are a plethora of career options available. The show will generate awareness about career prospects in Bollywood (acting, writing, film-making), Cricket, Entrepreneurship, television journalism Gaming, Writing, adventure sports etc. Minus 30 will profile college campuses, feature discussion and debates on issues of concern. To top it all, a dedicated section would be created on ibnlive.com for viewers to logon and share their opinion and post their feedback on the ongoing ‘hottest Career‘ poll, among other exciting interactive features.

    A unique feature of the show is its interactive nature that invites viewers to act as a guide, thereby giving an insight into the very essence that defines their city.     MUMBAI:ICICI Bank and CNBC?TV 18 Emerging India Awards-2007 has created history by attracting over 1 lakh nominations from across the country - a record 185 per cent increase over last year.

    The award that was created to develop and boost the SME sector in the country had attracted over 35,000 entries received for this initiative last year.

    The Emerging India Awards 2007 felicitation ceremony of the winning SMEs is scheduled for 22nd June 2007 in Mumbai where the Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will felicitate the winners.

    Emerging India Awards, India?s foremost initiative powered by the capability of shaping the future of Indian SMEs, has been acknowledged as India?s biggest business award by the Limca Book of Records. This year the maximum numbers of entries received by this initiative are from Maharashtra followed by Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and West Bengal.

    Recognizing the potential offered by small and medium-sized enterprises to the country?s economy, the central and various state governments have undertaken multiple initiatives to encourage entrepreneurs.
