    MUMBAI: The winners of the first week of ?8PM Bareilly ka Hero?, a unique talent hunt by Radico Khaitan Ltd. in association with Big92.7FM, were announced today.

    Shahnawaz Khan, Sachin and Rishikant were adjudged the three winners for the first week of the ?8PM Bareilly ka Hero? contest.

    ?8PM Bareilly ka Hero?, which began on July 23, 2007, is a first of its kind initiative by Radico Khaitan Ltd. and BIG 92.7 FM, where the people of Bareilly get a platform to showcase their mimicry talent and take it a step further and actually pursue it as a career option.

    The three winners of this talent hunt for this week gone by come from varied backgrounds.

    ?8PM Bareilly ka Hero? talent hunt, is a month long initiative where-in three winners would be selected during the course of the first 3 weeks. The grand finale in the 4th week would finally see the selection of the winner out of the nine winners selected during the month.

  • Fly to South India Filmfare Awards with Radio Mirchi

    BANGALORE: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM Bangalore has been appointed as official radio partner for South India?s film awards ceremony ? 54th Fair One Filmfare South Awards scheduled for 4 August in Hyderabad. The film fraternity from across South India - Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada - is expected to be present on the occasion.

    As a run up to this, Radio Mirchi will be conducting a series of interviews with stars like Ganesh, Vijay, Ramya about their experiences and also air trivia about movies and songs.

  • Rediffusion DYR PR appoints M Subramaniam as VP South

    MUMBAI: M Subramaniam has replaced Mamta Bharadwaj as Rediffusion DYR Public Relations vice president - south.

    Subramaniam comes from IBM where he was responsible for external communications for the company. He will be based in Bangalore and will report to group president Lokesh Tiwary.
