  • Watch Moto GP: Czech Republic -Live on Ten Sports

Submitted by ITV Production on Aug 17, 2007

MUMBAI: Moto GP returns after a one month break with the Czech grand prix live on Ten Sports on the 19th August. The rivalry between Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi heads to Brno in the Czech Republic. Though major racing has been happening in Brno since 1930, the new track was built during the 1980s, in a natural bowl which gives spectators an excellent view. The track constantly changes in elevation as it sweeps across forested hillsides and its fast undulating corners test rider talent and engineering to the limit.

Time is running out for Valentino Rossi after Stoner?s success in the USA at Laguna, and the young Australian is showing remarkable consistency, with 6 wins and never finishing out of the points this season. Rossi currently has 177 points, behind Stoner on 221, with Dani Pedrosa in third on 155. Australian Chris Vermeulen?s 2nd place in America means that he?s now tied for 4th overall with italy?s Marco Melandri.

There are just 6 races to go after the Czech grand prix, and with 25 points for a win, Stoner is looking odds-on favourite to claim his first ever Moto GP title by the time the riders reach the last race in Valencia in November.

Ten Sports shows live coverage of every Moto GP race as well as America?s Champ Car series, GP 2 racing featuring Karun Chandok and the top motorsport from the sub-continent.

Submitted by ITV Production on Aug 17, 2007

MUMBAI: Take a mind blowing journey beyond your wildest imagination into the universe of the Bizarre! From spontaneous human combustion to anti-ageing machines, this extreme reality programme traverses every corner of the world in search of outrageous events, unexplained phenomena, macabre people and weird places Highlights include:

Pentecostal Serpent Handlers - Journey to the hills of the rural south where believers take passages of the Bible literally enough to take up serpents...especially deadly rattlesnakes and cottonmouths. Here, they speak in tongues, lay hands on each other and become possessed with a uncontrollable zeal to cast out the devil‘s influence. Some take extreme measures and swallow 100% strychnine as a testimonial to their piety, without, it appears, any fatal results.

Wolf Boys of Mexico - Suffering from an unusual hair growth disorder which covers them from head to toe with thick curly hair, two boys from a small Mexican town find a future in the Mexican National Circus. There, the wolf boys are not cast in a "freak show" but are employed as acrobatic stunt performers, by a caring manager who guards their welfare and provides for their education. Ufologyst Dr. Stranges - Dr. Frank E. Stranges has a unique pal, a Martian by the name of Valiant Thor. Dr. Stranges says the Martian visits him on a regular basis and has invited the doctor aboard his space vehicle. In addition, Dr. Stranges‘ claims Valiant Thor has been working at the Pentagon where Stranges professes to have visited him.

Modern Day Mummification - At Lynn University in Florida the mortuary science department teaches more than funerary practice. Here they have reincarnated the ancient art of mummification. Graduates of their program have a bizarre advantage: the deceased will have an option to standard burial practices. The mummification option includes preservation, body wrap, mummiform, and a sarcophagus with inscriptions depicting the life of the departed.
