  • Shekhar Suman and Atif Aslam on Amul Star Voice of India

    MUMBAI: As the country?s favorite singing talent hunt show, Amul Star Voice of India, is steadily proceeding towards its finale, the exhilaration & anxiety is also gearing up.To bring an air of fun & humor this weekend, Amul Star Voice of India will present the laughter king Shekhar Suman & the youngest sensational singer Atif Aslam. While Friday will be a mixture of fun & music, Saturday will showcase the Bollywood beauty Diya Mirza & the very talented Manoj Bajpayi as celebrity guests on the sets of Amul Star Voice of India.

    The evening will kick start with the rocking performances of Atif with his hits ?Tere Bin? & a number from his latest album ?Meri Kahani?. This will be followed by the magnetic performances of the five finalists of the show ? Irfan, Ishmeet, Abhaas, Toshi and Harshit. Each of the competitors will showcase their musical talents by singing two songs each ? one song from the old golden Bollywood days and the other from the latest hits. Each contestant will give their best to secure their position in the next round of Amul Star Voice of India as each of chase their dreams to be the ?Voice of India?.

    Irfan will start off the old melody round with the famous Dev Anand?s song ?Jiya Ho Jiya? which will prompt Shekhar Suman to appreciate his style & flamboyance. The ?Punjab Di Puttar? Ishmeet will lend his sweet voice to the old hit ?Mai Jat Yamla?. Abhaas will be highly praised for singing the very famous Shammi Kapoor?s song ?Yahoo?Koi Mujhe Jangli Kahe?. The energy and gusto of Abhaas will catch the eyeballs of all the judges. Toshi will perform with the spectacular hit ?Yeh Reshmi Julfe?. To complete the golden era of Bollywood, Harshit will lend his voice to the all time favorite of Amitabh Bachchan - ?Thodi Si Jo Pi Li Hai?.

    The old melody round will be followed by new hit numbers of Bollywood. Ishmeet will sway the audiences with the song ?Sitaro ki Mehfil? while Irfan will sweep away the judges with the thrill of the song ?Tadap Tadap?. Toshi will make a mark with the latest hit ?Main Jahan Rahu? and Harshit will sing to the tune of the brand new song ?Ankhon Mein Teri?. Last but not the least the youngest contestant, Abhaas will gain high accolades as he will perform to the hit number ?Tanahai?.

    Each finalist of Amul Star Voice of India will perform their best to overcome all obstacles and reach the zenith. In this tension filled environment Shekhar Suman will be the perfect stress buster. His jovial, compelling presence and ?hasi ka tadka? will not only set an air of relieve amongst the contestants but will also inspire and energize them to perform better with more enthusiasm.     MUMBAI: B4U Music, the UK‘s number one Asian channel, announces the commissioning of a song for Diwali this year - the first of its kind in the Asian Music industry

    The single on the lines of the Christmas singles released every year is slated to top the charts this Diwali and reflects B4U Music‘s commitment to innovation in contemporary Music.

    Titled Diwali Aaayi Re, it will be showcased at Diwali on the square - one of the biggest cultural events outside India taking place in Trafalgar Square, London on 28th October 2007 ,which is being sponsored by B4U Network.

    Composed and sung by Karunya, the song which has a catchy tune and upbeat music is on its way to become the anthem during this festive season.     This 4 day long college festival holds lots of reputation among the students and is acclaimed as North India‘s biggest college fest. Starting from 25th October till 28th October, the event will witness more than 10,000 students from all across the nation who would be coming in to participate in various competitions organized during the festival.
