  • BIG FM's Spiderman teaches how to chipak ke jeeto

    MUMBAI: BIG 92.7 FM, India‘s No. 1 FM Station, is taking excitement around its latest offering and biggest endurance test, Chipak Ke Jeeto, to an altogether new level! In keeping with the theme of the endurance test, which is to Chipak, the Station has gotten extremely innovative and has Spiderman himself doing the Chipak across the city‘s high footfall areas.Through this event, Spiderman will be challenging the local populace to be part of the innovative and biggest endurance test of all times, Chipak ke Jeeto which is being hosted in association with Hyundai Motors‘ newly launched i10. This on-ground event is being hosted across the 5 cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bangalore simultaneously and will kick-start on 11 January, 2008.

    Spiderman will be seen traveling across the city and Chipko-ing to random cars that are parked on the roads, giving audiences a sneak peek into what the Chipak Ke Jeeto contest will be like. Besides enthusing listeners to participate in the glam event, this activity will create a lot of excitement amongst the people?about this one of its kind challenge, which allows the contestant who remains touching the swanky new Hyundai i10 for the longest period, to grab the keys and drive home the machine!

    The entry phase saw people from across the metros seeking participation in large numbers. Short-listed candidates are being put through medical tests, only after clearing which, they will be eligible to take part in the contest. The Station has also ensured counseling and training sessions to ensure the participants have all the gearing up and preparations required, before the day. The finalists will compete with each other to win the Hyundai i10 from 11 January, 2008 across all 5 locations.     MUMBAI: Jhhoom India on SaharaOne bids adieu to the year 2007 in style with some solo performances and top hit numbers of 2007.

    Saturday 29th December is the last episode of this year as far as JJhoom India goes and they bid adieu to the year in style. It‘s Masti Time as the contestants say ‘Bye Bye to 2007‘ and Welcome the year 2008.

    The special guest this week is none other than the beautiful actress Amrita Rao and accompanying her is debutant actor Nikhil Dwivedi. They are on the Jhoom sets for the promotion of their next venture ?My Name is Anthony Gonsalves?. After Friday?s elimination round the show got its top four. This week saw Chhavi and Shekhar at the bottom and finally the other Jodi‘s choose Shekhar to remain as part of the contest thus Chhavi Mithal getting eliminated. The remaining four Jodi‘s now left in the contest, Sachin-Madhushree, Varun-Akriti, Roshni-Vinod and Shekhar-Sanjeevani make sure to give out their best performance in front of the celebrities and the judges.

    The Saturday ?Bye Bye 2007? episode will have two rounds. In the first round, the top 4 Jodi?s will sing some best of 2007 numbers. While second round would see the top four actors going solo without the help of their mentors. The actors though nervous end up giving some really good performances. The only unfortunate incident this week being that, Roshni suffering from throat infection was unable to complete her solo song. She would be singing ?Pyaar ki Kahani Suno? from ?Honeymoon Travels? and ?Lambi Judai? as the solo song. Others make sure to give the best of their talents which is evident from the judges‘ comments too this week. All the judges were unanimous in pointing out that the top four selected are really the best ones and all have improved drastically from what they were at the starting of the show.

    Saturday, December 29:

    • Ideas 2008 (8:30 pm): This special year-ender show attempts to take a look into the year ahead and predict what will be the BIG ideas of 2008.
