    MUMBAI: Zee Cinema, the No. 1 Hindi Movie channel is proud to announce the World Television Premiere of Fool ?N? Final.

    After the stupendous response to the premiere of the film ?Vivah? on the channel, Zee Cinema carries on its legacy of bringing Bollywood blockbusters for its ardent viewers. A laughathon meant to tickle your funny bone, Fool ?N? Final is a comical look at Dons, Diamonds and a bunch of three desperately trying to save their lives! Based in Dubai, Raja (Shahid Kapur) is a clever crook, partnered by his girlfriend Tina (Ayesha Takia), and her maternal uncle, Chobey (Paresh Rawal). Since Chobey owes money to a gangster named ?Moscow Chikna? (Arbaaz Khan), Raja decides to help him out by arranging the abduction of Rocky (Chunky Pandey), a jewel thief, who has a priceless diamond in his possession. If Raja and his gang do not bring this diamond to Moscow Chikna, the latter has sworn to cut off their arms.

    When another gangster JD (Zakir Hussain) finds out about the diamond, he asks the trio to bring the diamond to him, failinsg which he will cut off their legs. Raja successfully abducts Rocky - only to be threatened by a third London-based gangster, Chokshi (Gulshan Grover) that their necks will be cut off if the diamond is not surrendered to him. Chaos prevails as the hapless trio, their lives complicated by the bumbling Kuttu Pilot (Johnny Lever), hustle to save their lives - in vain attempts to try and pacify the three gangsters.

    With an interesting assortment of kooky characters essayed by a bevy of popular Bollywood stars, dramatic twists and turns in the plot, some foot-tapping music, Fool ?N? Final is just the masala you need to spice up your weekend!

     
  • Alka Yagnik floored by singing prodigies at Amul Star Voice Of India's Chhote Ustaad

    MUMBAI: As the show takes a more serious turn with seven nanhe stars singing away to glory in the race to become Amul‘s Star Voice of India Chhote Ustad, the show sees more stars and celebrities gracing the sets and wanting to meet these singing prodigies.This Saturday, the viewers are in for a treat as Alka Yagnik takes her seat as a celebrity judge in the Retro Raat which celebrates the golden period of Indian music and pays tribute to the legendary Kishore Kumar, Rafi , Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsale, Manna De and many more who have become immortal with their everlasting music.

    To keep up to the mood of the evening, the judges and the little kids were dressed colourfully with bell-bottoms and bumble-bee glasses; like the stars from 70s and 80s. And it didn‘t stop at this; Abhaas and Kunal Ganjawala went into the Sholay trance and did the Jai-Veeru act while Shreya Ghoshal, usually known for her soberness, quickly image changed into Basanti and mimed Hema malini. Also Yaadon ki Baraat was recreated as Abhaas, Kunal Ganjawala and Pritam did a small parody on the title song. Truly the mood was retro!

    Amongst all this fun, Alka Yagnik referred to Shaan and Abhijeet whose presence was missed on the Star Voice of India sets. "Coming on Star Voice of India Chhote Ustad is like coming to my home ground. I had judged the first season of Star voice of India and coming back here is like coming back to my family. I am missing Shaan, Abhijeet here", she said.

    Anvesha, Prakriti, Jayant, Vyom, Sonia, Aishwarya, Areeb rocked the stage as they sang one melodious songs after another leaving everybody nostalgic with the musical and titillating number from 70s and 80s. While all the kids performed their songs par excellence, Alka yagnik who was completely floored by Aishwarya‘s singing, promptly removed her gold chain and gave it to Aishwarya. "In fact, I rang up Gajendra Singh to say that Aishwarya is an excellent singers and I am looking forward to hearing her in person", said Alka Yagnik on this emotional moment. She was also happy with fact that girls are finally recognized unlike earlier when she was judging the show. Also she congratulated the Chhote Ustad team for giving this platform to young kids who are the future of the music industry.

  • Dubai International Horse Racing Carnival Live on Ten Sports

    MUMBAI: Following an outstanding win last year by Mystical, the collective eyes of Indian Horse racing fans will be on Ten Sports, the most watched sports channel in the sub-continent, as it telecasts top racing action from the much-anticipated Dubai International Racing Carnival.

    Starting Thursday, January 17, the first of 10 top-class fixtures will be telecast live, as the Dubai International Racing Carnival culminates into the richest horse racing event of the world, the Dubai World Cup, which will be held on Saturday, March 29.

    Live telecast of the DIRC events will start from 10:30pm IST, and the next nine races are scheduled for January 24 and 31, February 7, 8, 14, 21, 22 and 28 and the final DIRC event is slated for March 6.

    If 2007 edition of Dubai International Racing Carnival is any indication; the quality and international representation in 2008 will catch the imagination of all fans.

    But the 2007 DIRC will always be remembered for the landmark win for Mystical, the five-year-old from Poonawala Stud Farm, which put India firmly on the international racing map. That win has prompted more Indian stables to enter in the events this season.
