• Its comback time on Comedy Circus 2 this on 28 June, at 10.00 P.M only on Sony Entertainment Television

Submitted by ITV Production on Jun 24, 2008

MUMBAI: Comeback of who?you might ask. Well, it‘s the come back of all the jodis who couldn‘t make it to the last rounds of this laughter rollercoaster ride. So here they were again??putting their best foot forward and the first one to do so were Juhi & VIP.They with their fundoooooo performance set the mood for the evening and won audience accolades including the judges. After this rib-tickling act came Sucheta-Salim as a retarded student and teacher duo?does this sound a little familiar; well not really except that Sucheta was trying to deal with a retarded school-going Salim who was constantly annoying her with his whiny complaints???but she finally found her way around the kid. Rajesh and Rajiv were two long lost dost while Rajesh is an America-returned surd; Rajiv is a true-blue Punjab da jat who meet over drinks only to realize that they were both actually waiting for someone else. Chitrashi and Rehman presented what they do best?.. fight between the long and short?. but they still look just as charismatic. Sayantani and Kuldeep also performed and what was the performance about??.take a wild guess? Wait let me bring this out???while Kuldeep dressed and performed as our nation‘s beloved bapu; yes Mahatma Gandhi himself??.Sayantaniwas?..Munnabhai?..and what were they talking about??.love and peace?.yes, can you believe it Kuldeep who walked out of Comedy Circus and Sayantani??..

talking about love and peace??but whatever said and done it was a moving performance. Talking about come back round did we not mention Akashdeep Saigal and Pervez Siddique yet. Oh boy!!!! There‘s was a show stealer??..ahh not quite going by there looks???.i mean both were dressed as beggars and looked quite horrible and so was their act going by the points they scored?..but it sure was different. What was there performance about? Akashdeep is a pampered beggar who is just not ready to give up on his luxury of living off what his partner begged and ya I am sure you must have guessed that it is Pervez; a frustrated beggar who did all the begging (earning). Wait a minute?..isn‘t something amiss? Sure it is?..we did not talk about our host and dost for Comedy Circus evenings??. Shute Sheth and Shana Shakeel?.well, talk what about them?..except that Shakeel was pestering Shruti with his witty humour??

All this and much more only on Comedy Circus 2 "Come back Special"??..

Submitted by ITV Production on Jun 21, 2008

MUMBAI: RAJO festival is here and Orissan girls are in a mood for unbridled revelry and carousing.
Rajo is the three-day festival, which celebrates the advent of monsoon; usher‘s a prosperous agricultural year in Orissa through biological symbolism of the first showers moistening the parched summer soil thereby readying it for productivity.

Taking cue on this festive occasion Radio Choklate 104fm left no stone unturned to celebrate in style. An ON AIR programme was designed called it‘s the time to pamper em‘ where folk based oriya songs about thirty in number glorifying girls were recorded and sung by our RJS, it was played every half an hour to create Rajo festive mood, and we were the only station to capture the hearts of oriya girls. Several smses, phonecalls poured in from all over state appreciating our humble effort.

A radio play called Rajo mauja was aired to bring in the traditional fervour.

A huge Chenna or Cheese Cake of 104KG considering our frequency number was cut and distributed to the public in a fantastically designed "choklate carnival".

To elaborate, the cake was placed in a well decorated open vehicle which was playing our station I.D. and Rajo songs followed by a vintage car in which sat all our famous 6 Chota RJs dressed as prince and princesses waving to the ever cheering crowd, behind them were Sambalpuri folk dancers, odissi dancers and then the entire team of Radio Choklate, in open vehicle distributing Choklate and taking Ashirwaad from general public as we passed through important landmarks of our twincity. It was an experience of a lifetime. The response was touching and overwhelming.

This festival is famous for fun n frolic, which includes the ever-popular swing competition, gorging on delectable pithas a special variety of cake made of rice powder, molasses, coconut, camphor and ghee called poda pitha is made in every oriya household, so our ground activity included pod pitha making contest in the station, many listeners took keen interest and participated, another popular contest that is the paan making was organized in our premises for the men folk which was a huge success.Several prizes were distributed to the winners.

Rajo mood was spread by Radio Choklate104FM and brought back the old era of festivity
