    MUMBAI:How much do you invest? How do you make your investment decisions to generate profit? UTVi has a solution to these questions and more with the show "Mad About Markets". In a unique effort to make business news a more interactive platform, UTVi is launching a special investor-connect initiative in Gujarat by bringing its popular investment queries show Mad About Markets to Ahmedabad. Investors will be able to get answers to all their investment related queries LIVE, on the show. ‘Mad About Markets‘ is a highly interactive and informal show in which viewers can call in or SMS and get their queries answered by experts in the field. This is the first time however, that the show will answer investor queries in a live-to-air format.

    The show is hosted by veteran business anchors Shruti Pandit and Vikram Oza.

    MUMBAI: Do you want to know the secrets of some of the biggest companies in India? Do you wonder what is behind their successful facade? Through a series of investigations, UTVi‘s journalists have brought to notice, information about the biggest companies in India which are unlisted and belong to the private domain. Starting off with Tata Sons, the series shall move on to one of the biggest publishing houses in India & the most renowned names in the durables sector.

    The India‘s best kept series aims at uncovering some interesting and well kept secrets about these companies. It focuses on their revenues, profitability and unearths a few other lesser known facts as well.

    The series will be hosted by Arun Anandagiri, Assistant Editor, UTVi. Arun is a veteran broadcast journalist and has been accredited with the uncovering of a number of big corporate stories, in the past.

    The first company in this series, which UTVi has uncovered, is from the Tata stable. Not only is this company probably the most profitable unlisted company in India, but its EPS is possibly higher than any other company listed on BSE. In the financial year 2007, with a total Income of over Rs 3800 crore, net profit above Rs 3300 crore, Earnings per Share of over Rs 82,000, and accumulated Reserves to the tune of Rs 12,000 crores, this Tata company could be the most highly valued unlisted company in India.

    MUMBAI: It was a moment of great pride as Mumbai?s favorite RJ Rohit of ?Mumbai Much Much? fame on BIG 92.7 FM, today concluded the heroic attempt of a LIVE on-air marathon lasting for 105 hrs at 18.00 hrs amidst much fanfare! RJ Rohit?s unique feat was attempted for a cause, an effort to urge Mumbaikars to go the eco-friendly way, this Ganesh Utsav and was celebrated through a livewire celebration for his achievement with popular celebrity singers like Mika. The singer enthralled the audiences and RJ Rohit?s many fans who have been keeping him company staying awake for all these hrs on-air.

    The entire city of Mumbai flocked to a popular suburban mall to catch a glimpse of their favorite RJ and his successful completion of non-stop RJing for 105 hrs, the entertainment quotient was high with rocking performances by singers like Madhushree, Shweta Pandit, Arshi, Mink & Punnu. The celebrations were also joined by actors Samir Dattani, Rahul Dev & Sushant Roy from the cast of the upcoming action flick ?Mukhbir?.

    After going non-stop on-air for 105 hrs, RJ Rohit expressed, ?This was truly a lifetime experience, something which we will always remember. The entire city responded to the RJ Marathon in a wonderful way, we have received a record number of sms and phone calls during days and nights and this has kept us going in high spirits.?

    Mumbaikars have performed havans and puja for the success of this record making activity and ensured they cheered their favorite RJ by visiting him regularly at the BIG 92.7 FM studios. RJ Rohit through this never-before attempted marathon which kick-started on August 21, 2008 at 09.00 hrs, adopted an innovative way to highlight the cause of celebrating an eco-friendly Ganesh Utsav considering uncontrollable pollution being faced by the city currently. With the culmination of the RJ Marathon, the ?Radio Olympiad? comes to an end with the promise of offering new activities in the near future for its listeners.

    This unusual record required the Radio Jockey to have immense passion for Radio, given that it is a true endurance test. Such a marathon makes for a rare attempt and hence there are no learning?s for the RJ?s. All the RJ?s had gone through several preparations for the marathon both physically and mentally and undertook fitness, yoga and meditation classes to ensure the highest levels of patience, commitment and focus. These preparations along with prayers & blessings from his near and dear ones!

    BIG 92.7 FM has ensured all arrangements required like medical assistance, food, energy drinks, string of well wishers to ensure the RJ?s are in their high spirits and also a well chalked out programming plan to ensure the successful completion of the marathon.   • BSNL Dhamaal ke sitaarey

    MUMBAI: Dhamaal 24- the FM radio station of BAG Films & Media Ltd that has become the voice of nine cities across India Hissar, Karnal and Patiala in the north of India, Jabalpur in Central India, Muzaffarpur, Ranchi in the east of the country and Dhule, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar in the west, launched the first ever radio reality show on a national level titled BSNL Dhamaal Ke Sitaarey. The show hunts for potential singers of tomorrow and pioneers reality show broadcasting on FM Radio stations on a national scale.

    BSNL Dhamaal Ke Sitaarey invited participation of potential singers in these areas through simple phone calls and road shows. The pioneering show received overwhelming response from its listeners. In the first few days of its broadcast, the lines got clogged with nearly 800 entries per day, not counting the registrations at the canters. Dhamaal 24 once again kept its promise of getting the stage closer to deserving radiozens to showcase their talent.

    The show has now entered its second stage. Ten best singers have been selected from each of the cities and the listeners are going to judge their city winner by voting through SMS.

    In the third and the final stage, the 10 city winners will fight out in front of a panel of judges for the coveted crown in a gala event hosted in Delhi.
