Straight Drive will make a return during the innings break, and at the end of each match.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni returns as captain of the Indian team, and his immediate job would be to ensure his team handles the twin spin threat of Sri Lanka ? Muttiah Muralitharan and Ajantha Mendis ? better than they did at the final of the Asia Cup.

India will feel the absence of Sachin Tendulkar, who pulled out of the series with an elbow injury, but will be buoyed by the form of Yuvraj Singh, who scored a scintillating century in the only warm-up match before the ODIs.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will go in with the confidence of winning the Test series and dominating the famed Indian batting line-up for most part of the three Test matches. They also enjoy an upper hand against India at home, having won 19 matches and lost only nine in the 34 times the two teams have squared up on Lankan soil.
