• BIG 92.7 FM conducts blood donation camp

    MUMBAI: BIG 92.7 FM, the only station in Chennai which celebrates "Tamilian‘s Pride" today conducted a Blood donation camp in association with Lions blood bank Chennai. The camp was conducted in Marina and Besant Nagar beach, in continuation to the ongoing celebration of BIG 92.7 FM‘s second anniversary.

    The camp was lead by RJs of BIG 92.7 FM who donated blood as a mark to thank all their listeners for supporting them for the past two years. Listeners of BIG 92.7 FM also participated in the camp.

    BIG 92.7 FM Chennai celebrated its second anniversary on 27th September 2008 with a BIG Bang. BIG 92.7 FM‘s birthday The celebration included loads of fun, listener interactions, prizes and activities made all Tamilians feel proud of being associated with the radio station.

    On 26th September 2008, BIG 92.7 FM went live from outside the studio as all the RJs of BIG 92.7 FM did their shows live from various touch points of the city. The RJs touch based with Chennaites and played on-air games and contests thereby gratifying listeners with various gifts and goodies on the spot.

    Aggar - The Plot
    A woman discovers that, becoming attracted to the wrong man can have deadly consequences in this taut and tense thriller. Janvi (Udita Goswami) is a woman whose life would seem ideal on the surface: she runs a thriving business and is married to Dr. Adi Merchant (Shreyas Talpade), a psychiatrist.

    But a faint air of discontent has begun to creep into her relationship when Aryan (Tusshar Kapoor), joins Janvi‘s company. Aryan himself has issues as an angry outburst leads him to accidentally kill his cheating girlfriend. Janvi impulsively gets drawn into a relationship with Aryan to keep her sanity. But after her issues with her husband are resolved she tries to break off the affair. Aryan, however, is not willing to give her up so easily, and his attraction to her soon becomes a dangerous obsession.

    MUMBAI: CNBC AWAAZ Consumer Awards 2008 was held in Mumbai today to felicitate India‘s most preferred brands. The ceremony was presided over by esteemed luminaries like Sharad Pawar - Hon. Minister of Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Praful Patel - Hon. Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Mr. Vaidyanathan - Executive Director, ICICI Bank.

    Leading research organisation ‘The Nielsen Company‘ conducted the research spanning 17 product and service categories across the country in 21 cities and 84 rural centres, with around 10,000 respondents covering all strata of society - voicing their opinion about their most preferred brands.
