    MUMBAI: MY FM has rolled out a social campaign on ?Responsible Diwali? to motivate its listeners to observe Pollution Free Deepawali. The campaign is captioned as ?Iss Diwali Lighting Karo Dil Se!? A part of which is a media contest on Radio Spot Scripts on Pollution Free and noiseless Diwali, open to Creative people at Advertising and media agencies across India. The top three entries will be produced by MY FM and would be aired across MY FM 17 stations in Diwali week. The contest is being judged by Gulu Sen, the Creative Head, Dentsue Communication.

    MY FM, through this social campaign is trying to make listeners and the creative fraternity aware of the urgency to redeem environment out of the morass it is buried in today. The contest carries three awards. First prize shall be of Rs. 25,000/-, second prize of Rs.15000/- and the third prize carries an amount of 10,000/-.

    MY FM shall motivate its listeners to celebrate the festival of lights, good luck and prosperity in a safe, secure and environment friendly manner because MY FM believes that the day of reckoning is today, not tomorrow. MY FM through its campaign ??Is Diwali lighting Karo Dil Se!? is insisting upon its listeners to Celebrate Diwali in MY FM Style by renouncing crackers and celebrating with Lights instead.

    The other aspects of this campaign include the Contest on ?The Best Lit House on Diwali Nite? .MY FM is set to roll out this campaign, addressed to the listeners across 17 stations in 7 major states. Under the campaign, MY FM teams shall visit Residential Societies and announce the best lit house on Chhoti Diwali. The team shall visit a society and announce one winner out of the houses in the society and on the final day i.e. a day before Diwali, a mega winner shall be announced out of the daily winners.

Bhatia said, ?Deepawali is the most vibrant and auspicious festival for Indians who celebrate it with utmost enthusiasm and devotion and radio being of the same genre there can not be a better media to celebrate it.
