  • Radio City 91.1FM scores lead in the advertiser's preferred audience Leads FM in Mumbai with highest TARP in SEC AB

    MUMBAI: The numbers have spoken and Radio City 91.1FM scores the lead in Mumbai. Taking on the ace position, Mumbai‘s Radio City 91.1 FM rules FM radio in Mumbai in the advertiser‘s preferred audience SEC AB. Mumbai‘s Radio City 91.1FM has come up triumphant with Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) showing an uncontested leadership in its focus target audience of SEC AB with a TARP of 1.6 and time spent listening (TSL) of 5.05 hours in Week 44 of RAM data. (Refer Data Table 1 below). This is consistent with Radio City‘s lead in SEC AB 12+ with the highest TARP of 1.8 and TSL 5.18 hours in RAM Week 43 data.

    The four-week average (Week 41-44) data also has Radio City leading in SEC AB 12+ with a TARP of 1.7. (Refer Data Table 2 below). This is consistent with Radio City‘s lead in SEC AB 12+ with a TARP of 1.8 in the four-week average (Week 40-43).   • Celebrate the 'Child' in you this 'Children's Day', only with BIG 92.7 FM

    MUMBAI: BIG 92.7 FM - India‘s Number 1 FM Station, has launched some innovative campaign on ‘Children‘s Day‘ across its key stations in India. With the largest network of 45 stations, BIG FM has planned some great on-ground and on-air activities - all weaved around the ‘Children‘s Day‘ celebrations. The campaigns have been conceptualised to celebrate the ‘Child‘ within each of us and to create an avenue to re-live those by-gone days.

    In Delhi, BIG FM has launched yet another innovative campaign - ‘Back to Bachpan‘ on the eve of Children‘s Day. The campaign, which started on 5 November, will culminate on 14 November with a gala on-ground activity. The ‘Back to Bachpan‘ campaign will have RJ Neeti, Nitin and Jiah forming three groups - ‘Power House‘, ‘Chal Kat Le‘ and ‘Chillax‘ with the listeners & playing interesting games. The groups formed by the BIG RJs will have 25 members in each and will play interactive games in each of the shows. Playing along the 100 Chartbuster format, the participants would be asked some funny questions for which the participants need to respond by singing a 100 Chartbuster song. The participants will be made to do things which one can imagine doing only during the childhood and this is what every participant will be looking forward to. BIG FM‘s Kolkata station also is also introduced an unique on-air programme - ‘Half Ticket‘ in which BIG RJs will interact with listeners and share their childhood memories.

    Chennai‘s BIG 92.7 FM, keeping up with its "Tamilian‘s pride" celebration now gives an opportunity to listeners to showcase how talented their children are.   • The 24fps Animation Awards 2008 goes one notch up

    MUMBAI: Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics, the training division of Maya Entertainment Limited & India‘s leading 3D animation & visual effects training academy announced the winners of the much awaited 24FPS Animation Awards 2007-08 on Friday, November 7 at a star studded ceremony at the National Center for Performing Arts, Mumbai.

    Amongst the major highlights of the evening was the addition of the new category for Visual Effects in motion picture that stole the show. The category saw high profile entries like Om Shanti Om, Chak De India & Love Story 2050.

    The other major highlight of this years 24 FPS animation award was the Movers‘n‘Shakers Award conferred to Yash Raj Studios and Prime Focus received the award for Outstanding Contribution to Visual Effects Industry.

    Named as The 24fps Animation Awards, this competitive award not only motivates young animators to showcase their animation skills but also gives them a potential platform for launching themselves in the industry as true professionals. The awards are judged by a panel of eminent experts from the global animation fraternity

    Amidst the excitement of announcements of awards, there was refreshing entertainment for the audiences with performances by Dr. Tushar Shah and Toby Fernandes. Toby‘s unbelievable act as 43 different characters and Dr. Shah‘s cynical poetry had the audience in splits.

    Speaking at the 24 FPS Awards 2008, Ronald D‘mello, MD, MEL said, "24 FPS Animation Awards has raised the bar yet again.
