  • 90210 marks the come back of 'Jennie Garth' and 'Shannen Doherty'

    MUMBAI: Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty the former stars of Beverly Hills, mark the much anticipated re-union in 90210 that premieres on Star World on December 6th, 2008 @ 8.00pm.

    Jennie Garth has re-joined the cast reprising her role as ?Kelly Taylor? from the original series. She, now a single mum working as a guidance counselor at West Beverly High School. Though she is not a regular on the new "90210," her casting brings the new show closer to the traditional formula of a spinoff, featuring a character from the original series.

    An excited Jennie said,? I am definitely excited to be back playing my character. I realized that so many people are devoted to the show and I am striving to give something back to the old audience.?

    Likewise Shannen Doherty will reprise her role of Brenda Walsh on 90210 returning to West Beverly Hills high school for a multi-episode arc. Doherty?s character was last seen on the original series leaving for London to study acting.

    In the new show, Walsh will be a successful theater director, who returns to the school as a guest musical theater director. Doherty joins Tori Spelling (returning as Donna Martin, now owner of an upscale boutique)

    MUMBAI: Recession hits Sanjivani! Suffering the economic down turn, the doctors of Sanjivani face a huge crisis. At this critical point Dr. Abhimanyu Modi from the Sanjivani‘s management is sent to show one intern his way out. But as the anticipation becomes inexorable, Dr Kirti‘s exit from Sanjivani leaves every one in shock. Abhimanyu encounters a whiff of dislike by others as his action is not taken well with the interns. Adding fuel to their injury Abhimanyu‘s decision to take out non paying patients, gives another jolt to the interns.

    Putting them in a tricky situation Abhimanyu throws a challenge of a basketball match to Armaan and his team making it clear that if they loose, they will not intervene in his decision to take out the patients.

    Interns will have to try and leave no stone unturned to spell victory. But little do they know he is a hard nut to crack!! Abhimanyu tries all tactics to split the interns. Adrenaline rushing with amazing twists and turns laced with elements of thrill and excitement, Armaan and his team gears to get even with Dr. Abhimanyu and give him neck-to-neck competition on the basket ball court.

    MUMBAI: DJ Suketu joins Ustad Sultan Khan for a remix of the latter‘s ‘Maula Maula‘ and gives it a modern edge. He calls it Divinity Mix , and it sure does sound fantastic! The album titled ‘Gurus In Collaboration‘ is a treat to your ears and soul by the brilliance that it emanates.

    catches up with the maestro and the funky DJ who describes how wonderfully the video (Maula Maula) was shot on chroma to match the lyrics that of a lover‘s yearning. Suketu says that this is first time that he had to remix on the sound of the Sarangi and many other Indian instruments.
