MUMBAI: In its endeavour to live its brand line Suno Sunao Life Banao BIG 92.7 FM took over the noble cause of girl child education this World Literacy Day. The Station tied up with the NGO Nanhi Kali and took on the cause with listeners. Interesting contests were played on air with listeners and for every win - BIG 92.7 FM contributes a years education for a girl child from the NGO. In Mumbai, greeting the little girls and congratulating them was none other than Sambhavna Seth - a lady who has made a mark for herself, with a background in Bhojpuri films. While in Delhi, BIG FM had Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan commemorating the event.

Coined as ‘Music with a Cause‘, a two-day long contest on the eve of the International Literacy Day, invited the interested listener volunteers to support this cause by participating in the contest. There were ten winners of the contest and BIG FM on behalf of each of the winner sponsored the education of one girl child from ‘Nanhi Kali‘ for a year.
