MUMBAI: Idea SRGMP has created a special episode as our Grand Salute to Brave Soldiers and Mumbai Police.

As we all know, 26/11 has been deeply etched in the memory of all Mumbaikars and the rest of the country. It was the day that spelt mayhem in the lives of several innocent as also the brave police force and the army men who toiled hard to protect the victims and the spirit of the country.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa episode to be telecast on Tuesday, 24th @ 9.30 pm on Zee Marathi goes down the memory lane recounting the contributions of the brave men who fought against all odds and against terrorism.

Their fearlessness costed them their lives. However, the undying desire to uproot the terror campaign led them to seize a terrorist alive, something that was unheard of before in the world.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will pay tribute to all these brave men as we have the police force as our special audience. Many of the officers, who were part of operations at Taj & Girgaum chowpaty (place were they nabbed Ajmal Kasab Live) have recounted their stories of that fateful night. • Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah, the special show on SAB TV

Submitted by ITV Production on Nov 20, 2009

MUMBAI: Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah, the show on SAB TV, has been portraying the beauty and richness of Indian society and the strength of its togetherness very beautifully on screen.

But recently there was a moment of contrast on the sets of the show which has become India‘s most loved family comedy show ever.

Replacing the usual bursts of laughter was deep silence and candles of condolence. It was a moment of solidarity with the nation as the entire cast came together to pay homage to those who had lost their lives in the terrorist attack of 26/11.

We talked to Dilip Joshi who plays Jetha lal and he said - "It has been a year since the terror attacks struck Mumbai but the wounds of those who lost their dear ones are still fresh. Though we have been bringing smiles to the audience through our show, we are taking a moment on this day to be a part of the loss of the families of the victims"

Disha, who plays Daya, said "We are one with the nation in expressing our grief. But looking through the Ooltah Chashmah (which is the spirit of viewing problems with a positive and different perspective), we must find courage in our pain and try to make this world a better to place to be in, in our own small ways."
