• NDTV India Welcomes 2010 and Bids Adieu to 2009 with an Exciting Show

    MUMBAI: With the year 2009 coming to an end, NDTV India has lined up a range of exciting shows to welcome the New Year for its viewers. Enjoy the year-end with special shows on your favorite songs, remarkable happenings in the year gone by and the changes that Mumbai city has witnessed.
    "Gaana Number 1"

    December 29th and 30th, Tuesday & Wednesday at 9:30pm & the Finals on December 31st, Thursday at 11:00 pm

    NDTV travels to cities across India and interacts with people to identify the best Bollywood song of the year. The song of the year will be selected from six nominations shortlisted through market research and surveys of top of the chart songs on various radio stations and other chartbuster shows. The final decision will be through peoples? vote. Also find out how these songs were made from the music maestros themselves.

    ?Padmini Bolegi: Mumbai Badal Gayi?

    Our anchor-narrator is not a human. Watch Padmini, Taxi No- MH-01-X-5998, one of the ubiquitous taxis which has seen Mumbai through her thick and thin.     MUMBAI: Aryan wants to take chandramukhi out for new year party but she informs him that they are planning to hold a party in imaan chauki itself.meanwhile everyone is all geared for party mood in chauki and dancing and practicing for same when an electrician walks in with the last years pending bill for decoration.

    Aryan finds a perfect excuse and asks gul to settle the bill first or there will be no party . Chandramukhi and gul finally conspires to make aryan pay for the bill.

    She starts talking to gul making sure that aryan can overhear her that how she had wished that there was a party in chauki tonight and how she planned to kiss her man right at 12.0 clock.

    But now she is disappointed that party isnt happening. Gul then convinces a very curious aryan that Chandramukhi was talking about him and that he was her man that she had planned to hug and kiss in new year. hearing this aryan is excited to hold a party and settles all the bill but when party happens and the light goes off. Aryan hugs someone and later on when the lights come we realise its Commissioner who had come for the party . Aryan then somehow cooks a story to save himself and finally everyone is happy as the party rocks.

    Starting with the highly publicized 3 Idiots by Rajkumar Hirani, starring Aamir Khan along side the beautiful Kareena Kapoor, in their first ever movie. Accompanying them in the movie are gag-bags Sharman Joshi, R Mahadevan and Boman Irani. The film is based on Chetan Bhagat?s bestselling novel ?Five Point Someone? on three friends who struggle to enjoy their friendship and youth while trying to ward off the burden of grueling studies in an engineering college. Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi play the three friends. Boman Irani plays a college professor while Kareena Kapoor plays Aamir?s romantic interest. 3 Idiots is a comedy of ideas that is as provocative as it is funny, as wildly entertaining as it is insightful. A laugh-riot that talks about the most important of human pursuits: self-actualization.

    Trump Card revolves around a huge transaction of property which leads to murders, sting operations and spy work. The film is a suspense action thriller in which people are murdered for a specific cause. Everyone is disillusioned and clueless trying to find who is the killer?Is the motive money? Directed by Arshad Khan, the movie stars Vikram Kumar, Urvashi Chaudhary, Manasi Dohlav.

    Stepfather is directed by Nelson McCormick and stars Dylan Walsh, Sela Ward, Penn Badgley and Amber Heard. Michael Harding (Penn Badgley) returns home from military school to find his mother Susan (Sela Ward), happily in love with a man known as David Harris (Dylan Walsh). He seems like the perfect father and husband to everyone except Michael, who suspects that he is not quite the man he seems to be.

    SAB in the last week launched its new show Sajan Re Jhoot Mat bolo which opened at a healthy 1.7 TVR whereas all time favorite Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasmah got 3.1 TRP in week 51 TAM report.
