  • Union Cabinet Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah on Zee News `Kahiye Janab?

Submitted by ITV Production on Feb 05, 2010

MUMBAI: Aggravated by the attack on Shah Rukh just because he decided to appoint Pakistani players in his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders, Dr Farooq Abdullah, Union Cabinet Minister spitted out his anger for Bal Thackeray and Shivsena and supported the actor on Zee News celebrity chat show Kahiye Janab.

In conversation with Swati Chaturvedi, Dr Farooq Abdullah said, ?Shah Rukh Khan is being targeted by Bal Thackeray only because he is a Muslim. Why not go and attack Home Minister Chidambaram? He too talks about IPL and Cricket. But the Shiv Sena will never have the guts to do so. They have got a soft target and now they will keep hammering him. Shah Rukh has entertained India for years together and if all Muslims have to be termed as terrorists then I Farooq Abdullah, Union Cabinet Minister, am the biggest of all.??

He further stated, ?If all Muslims are terrorists then hang me. I think a test should be prepared for Bal Thackeray to prove, that all the chambers of his heart are Hindu. This is all nonsense and has just been made into a big issue. I think the main purpose of these people is to divide India and play a game of vote bank politics?.

Lastly he added, ?India and Pakistan should share a healthy relationship. What?s done is done. We cannot change our neighbour?.
