  • Nielsen Bases ropes in Amit Adarkar as VP

    MUMBAI:The Nielsen Company has appointed Amit Adarkar as Nielsen Bases VP. He will be based out of Mumbai. As part of his new mandate he will report to Nielsen Bases, South Asia, Middle East, Africa and executive director consumer research South Asia, Prasun Basu.

    "With Adarkar‘s understanding of the FMCG consumer space, a thorough handling of client‘s business and marketing challenges and his leadership skills, we hope to see him achieve great success for Nielsen" said Basu.
     
    Adarkar will provide leadership to the India and South Africa businesses of Nielsen Bases. He will also play an important regional role for Unilever and will manage large Unilever hubs in Mumbai and Johannesburg.
